I am Ana Judith Paredes-Chacín, and I work as a researcher and professor in higher education. My training as a Doctor of Management Sciences with a postdoctorate in Organizational Management shapes much of my professional profile.
I am currently a professor at a private university in Colombia and a Senior Researcher, ranked by Minciencias for the 2025–2027 period.
My research contributes to the thematic lines of knowledge management, information sciences, higher education management, and the management and competitiveness of organizations (micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises).
Guiding my intellectual output has led me to author and co-author scientific articles in high-impact indexed journals and in international academic journals, as well as books and book chapters.
My research experience has allowed me to found and edit peer-reviewed scientific journals, including Enl@ce: Revista Venezolana de Información, Tecnología y Conocimiento and Revista Económicas CUC. I also advise on the creation of academic journals and serve as a peer reviewer of scientific articles, books, and book chapters.
As part of my professional practice, as director of the Information and Archive System (SAILUZ) and the Library Services System (SERBILUZ), under the Academic Vice-Rectorate of Universidad del Zulia, I led their consolidation through renewed approaches based on change management.
